We arrive with our neighbors.
Bagong Pilipinas began with a simple conviction: that lasting change is never delivered to a community — it is built with one. We are a locally-rooted foundation, and every project starts with the people who will live with its results.
That means we listen before we plan. A classroom in Cebu, a mobile clinic in Samar, a rebuilt home in Bicol — each begins with a barangay assembly, not a boardroom. Our teams are drawn from the provinces they serve, and our partners are the local governments, schools, and cooperatives already doing the work.
A decade in, that patience shows. Programs we seeded in 2016 are now run entirely by the communities that once received them — the truest measure of success we know.

Our field teams come from the provinces they serve. Trust is the fastest infrastructure there is.

A program is finished when the community can run it without us. We build for the exit from day one.

The first barangay partnership
Bagong Pilipinas is founded in Makati and launches its first community learning hub in a single Cebu barangay.
- 2018
Aral Muna reaches 10,000 scholars
The scholarship and learning-hub program scales across the Visayas, keeping thousands of young Filipinos in school.

Lingap Kalusugan mobile clinics
In the pandemic's hardest months, mobile clinics bring free primary care to remote barangays cut off from hospitals.
- 2022
Handa Tayo disaster corps
A standing volunteer corps forms to deliver rapid relief and rebuilding after typhoons — pre-positioned, not improvised.
- 2024
One million lives touched
Programs cross a milestone: more than a million Filipinos reached across education, health, livelihood, and relief.

The ₱1B rebuilding fund
